WHY US?

What's up my friends? Hope the poker world is going well. Quick question to you all and I will get out of your hair. Why is it that every time a player gets sucked out on, get two good starting cards and a bad flop, try to trap another player and lets them catch up, try to bluff and gets caught or any other bad scenario, they always, and I mean always blame the dealer? Would someone, anyone please explain this to me. We as dealers take the most abuse from players that I have ever seen. Our job is to get as many hands out as possible, collect the bets, burn and turn, call the winning hand, and push the pot. We really have no control as to what cards come off the deck. If we did, don't you think that we would invite all our friends to come and play? Or deal jackpots everyday? WOW, I mean come on guys take it easy on the insults and threats. We do have feelings too. If you are superstitious about a dealer, get up when they deal, believe me when I tell you that we won't be offended. Some players just come in with a bad attitude towards the dealers, and that's usually the ones that don't tip. We love our jobs, but we would love them even more without the abuse. Don't ever take it personal when you lose a hand, because it is not. We are there for you, to provide customer service and most of all to feed our families from your tips. Well, with that being said, take care and I'll see you on the other side of the felt....

PEACE!!!!!!!!!!

REMEMBER AA, PLAY THEM HARD OR THEY MAY HARDLY PLAY!!!!!

No answer for you on that one D. Might as well curse the shuffle machine as it is doing most of the cold decking of players. Most of time those idiots players play bad anyway. They get superstious and mangle their hand because they have "bad luck" with a certain dealer. You are right they should stand up and take a stroll.

It's like those idiots that hate AK and then play it so terrible they insure a loss. Same with Jacks. The reason everybody hates them so much is they play them horribly, and lose a ton of money with them.

The only dealers that shouldn't get tipped are the inept ones. Maybe they'll get the point and quit. Dealers that do everything you listed, should get tipped regardless of the economy. Actually, the good ones should get tipped even better by the regulars... Here's why, for all you readers that are stingy, if a you are player there to make money (supplement your income whatever) and dealer is getting as many hands out per half hour as he can and pressing the action and not making mistakes--he's making you money. More hands unaffected by the rake.
