Hello my friends. First I would like to thank my compadres for that wonderful introduction. Now down to business. Let's get right down to it on my blog called "The Dealers box" a dealers perspective. First things first, Tipping the dealer. I know that tipping is a courtesy, but let me just shed some light on the subject. Dealers work very hard at what they do. You might get some dealers that might not be as good as others. So you should tip accordingly. But, don't make the good dealers suffer for the bad ones. Don't be afraid to throw that good dealer a red bird or two. Hell, on a huge pot ($1000 or more, hell, why not a Greenie $25) I mean it's not like you are going to miss it from your stack. Play for the moment, not like one pro player(Mike Cairo) once said " If you play poker for a living, by tipping the dealer you will lose money in the long run." I think that is a bunch of Bull. He has never worked for tips, if he had, he would understand how important it is for us as tipped employees. What he does not understand is that most of us make about $4.25 an hour without our tips, so as you can see we rely on tips from you guys for our main source of income. So with that being said, look out for us little people, and tell all of your friends to be a little more generous to their dealers next time they are pushed that monster pot. Also if you see someone that is not tipping, don't be afraid to say "Hey buddy, don't forgot about the dealer!!!!!!" Believe me, we appreciate it. Thanks Guys.
Remember: AA, play them hard or they may hardly play!!!
Peace!!!
